Biography
Internationally renowned dermatopathologist Dr. Rossitza Lazova graduated from Sofia Medical University, Bulgaria in 1985. After completing her fellowship, Dr. Lazova joined the Department of Dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine, where she worked and taught for almost 20 years. She has over 100 publications in journals. She is the co-author of two books: Differential Diagnosis in Dermatopathology II, Second Edition, and Atlas of Practical Mohs Histopathology. Her leadership qualities can be reflected being a board member of many societies including American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP), International Society of Dermatopathology (ISDP) and Organizing Committee of the ISDP. She developed an international program to train visitors from all over the world in the field of Dermatopathology. Dr. Lazova has mentored over fifty foreign physicians from twenty-six countries throughout the world in the last decade.
